Havdalah on the Porch Concert - June 18, 2022

Back to LIVE SINGING! Wow ... it was wonderful to get back to singing live with an actual audience. TJC performed a number of songs for the people gathered followed by a Havdalah service. The audience certainly enjoyed the live singing and it was a real high for the TJC. A wonderful success and the beginning of a return to normal.

We're still singing!

We're adjusting to our new world and as singers we've found a new way to make music. Toronto Jewish Chorus rehearsals now look like this, and the amazing thing is that we don't even have to explain what this is. It's very common now and even though we can't physically rehearse together, it's a great way to get in some music, link up with everyone and keep in touch with our chorus family in these stressful times.

Toronto Nathan Phillips Square

It was so cold even the camera had trouble focusing! But the TJC warmed the Nathan Phillips Square crowd with their beautiful rendition of Billy Joel's "For the Longest Time". Hats off to David Bernstein for his wonderful solo. The TJC performs for the Holiday Fair at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto. The temperature was a chilly -12 C, but the crowd loved every note! Be sure to mark your calendar for Tuesday, May 23 for our annual gala concert, Shir Delight 2017!
